The Villa is an elegant and modern residence licensed as a Home For the Aged. Our private rooms, services, and support care are designed to enable the retiree to maintain his/her independence. An added feature allows for short-term residence during transitional services. With our low monthly rates the Villa is a wonderful option for Assisted Living.
Each private living area features a bed/sitting room combination with a half bath and is furnished with a bed, three-drawer nightstand, built-in dresser and closet space. Bed linens, towels and wash clothes are supplied. Residents may bring their own twin bed and under counter type refrigerator if they wish and may further decorate with additional furniture, drapes, linens, plants, etc., to suit their individual tastes.
I. General
A. Residents must be 55 years or older.
B. An authorized representative must be appointed to act on behalf of resident.
C. Smoking is prohibited on the campus.
II. Mental Condition/Social Behavior
A. Residents must be willing to take up residency in the Villa.
B. Residents must not have behaviors or conditions that pose a risk of serious harm, safety, or well-being to self, other residents, visitors or personnel, including destruction of property.
III. Medical Conditions
A. Residents must not require the presence of a nurse at all times to provide ongoing nursing assessment, judgments and/or interventions. Home Health and Hospice services are available if needed.
B. A history and physical needs to be completed within 90 days prior to move in date.
C. A chest x-ray or tuberculosis intra-dermal test needs to be done within 12 months prior to move in date.
IV. Meals
A. Residents will be encouraged to go to the dining room daily for all three meals.
B. Resident must have a diet that the facility can provide.
V. Personal Care/Medication Assistance
A. Residents will be encouraged to bathe at least weekly and more often if necessary. Assistance can provided as needed according resident’s service plan.
B. Residents will be encouraged to be independent as possible with mobility, dressing, hygiene and incontinence care. Assistance can be provided as needed according resident’s service plan.
C. Residents managing their own medications are advised to keep them in a locked storage.
D. Medication assistance can be provided if needed. Resident must agree to comply with facility policy for medication assistance.
VI. Assessments/Evaluations
A. Done yearly unless there is a change in medical, mental or physical conditions that warrants further evaluation.
B. The resident’s Authorized Representative will be notified as soon as possible of any change in condition.
